Belgaum News: The result of Karnataka 2nd Pre-University Certificate exam has been declared this morning and a total of 5,02,590 students have passed this year.
This year 6,98,000 students registered for the exam out of which 81.15% of students have cleared their exam.
The 2nd PUC examination conducted in the state from 1st to 22nd March 2024 has been declared today Wednesday. The education department held a press conference in Bangalore and announced that 81.15 percent of students had passed this year’s exam.
The official result of the exam has been declared on the website today at 11 am. The results will be available on the official website karresults.nic.in and pue.kar.nic of the Department of Pre-Graduate Education.
This year, a total of 3,30,000 male and 3,60,000 female students appeared for the pre-degree second-year examination. A total of 6,98,000 male and female students appeared in this examination which was conducted at 1124 examination centers in the state.
Dakshina Kannada i.e. Mangalore district with 97 percent percentage has won the first position in the state, Udupi district (96.80 percent) is second, while Vijaypur district is third with 94.89 percent.
Two Girls from Athani College in Belgaum district have secured 3rd rank in Karnataka. Gauri Sanjeev Suryavanshi scored an exceptional 596 marks in science with a full 100 in Kannada, Chemistry, Life Science, and Mathematics and 96 in English.
G.K. Divya secured an exceptional 594 marks in the commerce stream securing a full 100 in Kannada, History, and Economics, 99 in Accountancy, 98 in Business Studies, 97 in English,
