Who is BS Yediyurappa, Former Karnataka CM, Who is Accused of Rape

Today, on March 15, 2024, the former CM of Karnataka, BS Yediyurappa has been booked under section 8 of the POSCO Act 2012 and IPC 354A for sexually assaulting a minor girl in his house.

According to the victim’s mother, it was an incident on 2nd February 2024, morning, when she took the girl with her to BS Yediyurappa’s house. According to her, she went to BS Yediyurappa’s house to get help in a rape case, in which her minor daughter was the victim. BS Yediyurappa took her to his room and locked them inside. When her daughter came out, she said BS Yediyurappa sexually assaulted her inside the room.

BS Yediyurappa was a former CM of Karnataka and a veteran leader of the BJP party. He is the 19th Chief Minister of Karnataka and has served as a Chief Minister in Karnataka multiple times, between 2008 and 2011, for a short while in May 2018, and again from July 2019 to 2021.
