A boiler in Belagavi blasted this evening leading to a loss of life. According to the sources, the boiler blasted on the premises of Priya Exports. The walls are all damaged due to the blast.
Priya Exports is a food processing unit on the outskirts of Athani town in Chikkatti, which is in the Belagavi district.
The blast took the life of a woman laborer, Sunanda Shidappa, 36 years old from Satti village in Athani taluk due to severe injuries. While two more laborers were severely injured and were admitted to Miraj.
It is under Athani police station and the police have started their investigation.
