Belgaum News: The Lok Sabha elections in Belgaum will happen on May 07, in the second phase. If you are above 18 years of age, then you must vote but are you in the voter list?
If you want to vote you must have a voter card and your name must be on the voter’s list to vote in the upcoming Belgaum Lok Sabha elections 2024.
If you are unsure, you can check whether your name is present in the voter’s list or not.
How to Check Names in the Voter’s List for Belgaum Lok Sabha Elections
The Election Commission of India recently launched an online portal where eligible voters can find their names, or basically check whether their names are present in the voters list to vote in the Lok Sabha elections 2024.
There are two ways to check your name on the voter’s list, one by the website and another by the mobile app.
Check Names in the Voter’s List for Belgaum Lok Sabha Elections Through Website
To check your name, all you need to do is:
- visit https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in/, which is the official website of the Election Commission of India
- you get three options to find your name, you can choose any one option:
- Search by EPIC number, which is present on your voter card
- Search by Details, like name, date of birth, relative name, state, and gender
- Search by Mobile number
- after filling in the details, enter the captcha code and click on “Search”
If your name is present, it will show all the details, otherwise, it will show as “no records found”.
Check Names in the Voter’s List for Belgaum Lok Sabha Elections Through Mobile App
This is very easy, all you need to do is, download the “Voter Helpline” mobile app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Login by entering your mobile number.
Enter your EPIC number and if your name is present in the list, it will show, otherwise it will show as “no record found”.
