A heinous crime was encountered in Belagavi where a stepmother was accused of killing her daughter who was just 4 years old, Samriddhi Rayanna Navi. The incident took place on Monday, 20 May, when Samriddhi suddenly lost her senses and fell on the ground while playing in the morning, 07:0 am.
As her grandparents saw this, they rushed her to Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences (BIMS) for treatment. The grandparents of Samriddhi blamed her stepmother for her demise.
Her grandfather Sunila Hampanna has blamed and made, her stepmother, Sapna Rayanna responsible for Samriddhi’s death.
Samriddhi’s father, Rayanna Navi is a CRPF soldier in Chhatisgarh. The incident took place near Belagavi in Kangrali KH village and a complaint was filed under the Belagavi APMC police station.
The police are investigating the matter, although police have not arrested anyone till now.
