A delegation led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah demanded Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for an over bridge in Belagavi and a cable car in Gokak fall for the ease of tourists and a new tourist attraction.
However, the demand for the construction of the Belagavi-Hungund-Raichur highway is still pending but CM Siddharamaiah does not want to let any stone upside down and wants to demand as much as he can for the betterment of his state and Belagavi.
The demand for a cable car and overbridge came after a delegation of officials led by CM Siddaramaiah, on Friday 28 June, met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to discuss many schemes.
Even the construction of cable cars in Gokak Falls was announced a few years back but no funds were provided for the same. CM of Karnataka again requested for funds to be made available soon along with funds for other schemes.
