Mobile and Bluetooth found inside Hindalaga Jail in Belgaum after raid

The police of Belgaum raided the Hindalaga Central Jail in Belgaum on the morning of 31 March after a tip of illegal activities was carried out from inside the jail. Police recovered mobile phones, chargers, Bluetooth devices, cigarettes, and tobacco.

The investigation was led by DCP Rohan Jagadish, who was supported by the ACPs of five divisions of the city. The raid was carried out with the help of a dog squad and lasted for an hour.

The Hindalaga jail is the place where the Transport Minister of India, Nitin Gadkari was a life threat. The jail was raided at that time also, but the accused was not found.

The police have seized all the devices and further investigations are being carried out according to DCP Rohan Jagadish.
