In a strong statement made in Belagavi on Sunday, BJP Member Jagadish Shettar citied recent incident highlighting the deteriorating state of law and order.
BJP MP Jagadish Shettar stated in Belagavi on Sunday,” I think there is a conspiracy to finish off the political career of BJP MLC C T. Ravi.”
BJP MP Jagadish Shettar has expressed a severe concern regarding the state of law and order, he said that the law and order has failed and it seems as if there is situation of havoc in the state.
Mr Shettar stated that,” First, a group of criminal elements attempted to assault MLC Ravi in the Suvarna Soudha after he allegedly used abusive words against Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar in the Legislative Council during the Winter Session in Belagavi.
Secondly, his arrest in front of the Suvarna Soudha was both illegal and in violation of established rules of protocol for legislators. Now, unidentified miscreants have written a letter to him, threatening to kill him. All these incidents collectively point towards a systematic attempt to finish his political career.
“It also shows the law and order in the State has failed, creating an impression of anarchy in the state,” he said.
BJP MP Jagadish Shettar has raised serious concerns about the deteriorating law and for the other situations in the state,claiming a systematic conspiracy against BJP MLC C.T. Ravi .
He demanded that the individuals who are responsible for the attempted assault on the BJP leader and those who wrote the letter should be first arrested promptly.
Furthermore, Shettar criticized the police for their alleged inaction, claiming their biased behavior and even accused them of acting inappropriately,
Minister M.B. Patil dismissed all the concerns raised by Mr. Ravi regarding the threats to his life as baseless and self-created. “Is there any proof to say Minister Hebbalkar is involved? All this started after an anonymous letter that was shared on social media. I think Mr. Ravi might have created this only to claim threats to his life,” he claimed.
