People of the village call it Barajanancha Vazar and there is a reason for that. The people of the village celebrate a festival in which the villagers on one side of the Kalasa River invite villagers from the other side of the Kalasa River.
Many people started towards the other side of the river. Out of these, ‘Barah Jana’ or twelve people, as per the ritual, also started to move to the other side of the river, but unfortunately, the festival had already started before they could come.
