The Ministry of Public Works department of the government of Karnataka launched a mobile application ‘C-TARA Task Assignment and Review Application’. The app was launched and a review meeting in Suvarna Soudha, Belagavi was organized at the first Karnataka Development Programs 2024-25 by the Minister of Public Works Karnataka Government and District In-charge Minister Satish Jarakiholi on June 12.
The app is developed to monitor, review, and address the problems and issues of the area by their respective district and taluk officials. The CEO of the district panchayat, Rahul Shinde, has developed the C-TARA app that will help the officials implement the programs effectively and efficiently.
This app will let the officials resolve issues related to schools, Anganwadi, PHC, Hostel, etc in their respective areas of work.
The public can use the mobile application to share their problems, concerns, and complaints with the officials. This is a really good way to operate as a transparent government and a step towards e-governance.
The officials can use the web portals to address and review the grievances of the public. This way the higher authority will know how the officials are doing the work and if the problems of the public are even heard or not.
Rahul Shinde said in an interview, “In order to overcome the shortage of doctors in rural areas, it has been brought to the attention of the government that categories A, B, and C can be created and doctors can be assigned to PHCs and CHCs according to the respective categories”.
