
NTA [The National Testing Agency] announced the date of Neet ug today on 21st June, Sunday, 2026. This decision has been made after the issue of paper leak. The Neet examination was conducted before on 3rd May, 2026.
Here is a look at what changes the NTA and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan have issued for the students in the re-examination and what stays the same:
- All the students who registered for the NEET examination can re-locate and re-modify their examination city. The portal will be opened shortly within few days where the students get the opportunity to change their city examination .
- The Admit cards will be released shortly by June 14.
- No Registration fee is required, the registration fee of the previous registration will be refunded soon.
- Shift to computer-based testing [CBT] from 2027
For now, the June 21 re-examination will serve as a critical test, not just for students, but for the credibility of India’s examination system itself.
