NEET Scam in Belagavi, Accused Arrested with ₹1.3 crores

The NEET scam in the country affected the lives of many students and now the police have arrested an accused with 1.3 crores who scammed a lot of students under the veil of NEET.

The police arrested Aravinda Aragonda aka Arun Kumar, 43, who cheated more than 10 students in Belagavi by contacting students who scored lower marks in the NEET exam and asking for money to get admission.

The market police have seized ₹1,30,41,884 cash along with computers, and mobile phones. The accused has connections with other state fraudsters and has multiple cases against him in other states.

The accused, Aravind, contacted only those students who scored lower in the NEET exam. He promised students a seat in the MBBS college to 10 students and collected ₹1.3 crores.

The police arrested him in Mumbai, Maharashtra with ₹12 lakh cash and assets worth ₹12,66,900 with computers and mobile phones.
