Belgaum News: As the Lok Sabha 2024 elections are nearing, the parties are declaring their candidates for the Belgaum constituency. The BJP and INC have already declared their candidate for the Belgaum, now some other parties are declaring their names.
One among them is Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti (MES). The MES has declared their candidate as Mahadev Patil for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections for Belgaum.
Mahadev Patil is going to contest against the BJP candidate Jagadish Shettar and Congress Candidate Mrunal Ravindra Hebbalkar. Mahadev Patil is an experienced politician from MES and the party has shown trust in him to win the election.
Also, the party wants to contest someone who is a native speaker.
MES Lok Sabha Election History
The Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti is an old party. The party won their first Lok Sabha Election in the year 1962 and ruled till 1967. From then till now the party has not won a single Lok Sabha election from the Belgaum constituency.
