The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) declared the results for the Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam 1 on 8th April, 2025 today at 1:30 PM with a pass percentage of 73.45 %. The Karnataka 2nd PUC exam was conducted between 1st March and 20th March.

For the Urban and Rural area wise result, a number of 5,03,900 students from Urban areas appeared of which 3,75,188 passed the examination, resulting in a pass percentage of 74.55%. In Rural areas, a number of 1,34,505 students appeared and 93,251 passed ,making the pass percentage of 69.33 percent.

Top 2 performers of Arts Stream

There are several outstanding performers this year in the Arts Stream. Leading the pack is L R Sanjana Rai , who scored a remarkable 597 marks out of 600 marks. Closely followed by K Nirmala with 596 marks and K R Shri Jeya Darshini with 595 marks out of 600 marks.

The Science stream also witnessed some excellent performance with Amoolya Kamath and Deeksha R topping with 599 marks each.Bindu Navale and Raja Yadu Vamshi Yadav scored 598 marks, closely trailing the top performers.

In the Commerce stream, Deepashree S emerged as the top scorer with 599 marks out of 600, followed by Tejaswini MA with 598 marks out of 600. Several others students scored 597 out of 600, with Pranay Balasaheb Alagouda  and Pratheeksha P rounding out the top 10.

DETAILS ABOUT THE PASS PERCENTAGE
1] SCIENCE STREAM: 82.54% Pass Rate, with 231,461 students passing out of 280,433 appeared in the examination.
2] COMMERCE STREAM: 76.07% Pass Rate, with 155,425 students passing out of 204,329 appeared in the examination.
3] ARTS STREAM: 53.29% pass rate, with 81,553 students passing out of 153,043 appeared in the examination.
4]KREIS schools recorded the highest pass percentage among all school categories.
The pass percentage has decreased by 7.7%.However, the department emphasized that the integrity of the examination was maintained, and no grace marks were award to the students.

With such an exceptional and milestone performance across all the streams, the results highlighted the hard work and keen dedication of the young youths towards their studies and career. Moreover, Students should note that the results released online are provisional. The students of PUC are required to collect the original marksheet from school authorities later.

The second examination will be held from April 24 to May 8, while the third examination will take place from June 9 to June 21.

Last year, a total of 6,81,079 students appeared for KSEAB PUC 2 Exams, out of which 5,52,690 students passed the examination, taking the overall pass percentage of 81.15 %.
