
Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has announced the SSLC exam results. The Secondary School Leaving Certificate exams 1 were conducted between 21st March and 4th April.
PASS PERCANTAGE: 62.34 per cent students passed their SSLC exam, which is 9 per cent higher than previous year. This time, record 22 students have scored 625/625 marks.
A total of 8,96,447 students appeared for the SSLC exams, including 4,61,563 male and 4,34,884 female students in the board exams this academic year. The examinations were conducted at 2,818 centers, with 65,000 assessors deployed across 240 evaluation centers to ensure smooth and timely assessment of answer scripts.
In the SSLC examination, a total of 427,379 candidates appeared, out of which 246,230 students successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 57.61%. Among the various language mediums, English medium students had the highest pass percentage, while Tamil medium recorded the lowest.
Papers were held in single shifts, from 10 am to 1.15 pm. The SSLC examination started with first language papers and concluded with NSQF subjects.

Roopa Chanagouda Patil from Devalapura village in Bailhongal taluk, which falls in the Belagavi district. A student of Government High School in Devalapur, Rupa credited her success to her teachers’ guidance and her parents’ steadfast support. GENDER WISE RESULTS
Among Regular Fresh Students, 3,90,311 boys appeared for the exam, of whom 2,26,637 passed, achieving a pass percentage of 58.07%. In comparison, 4,00,579 girls appeared, with 2,96,438 passing, recording a higher pass percentage of 74.00%.
CATEGORY-01 CANDIDATES
For Category-01 (Cat-01) candidates, 35,953 boys appeared and passed at 54.43%, while 37,363 girls appeared and passed at 71.27%, making an overall pass percentage of 63.01%. In 2A category, 87,830 boys appeared with a 63.03% pass percentage, and 87,582 girls appeared, passing at 78.73%, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 70.86%.
2B CATEGORY CANDIDATES
For 2B category, 54,983 boys appeared, passing at 46.95%, while 62,317 girls appeared and passed at 66.37%, making an overall pass percentage of 57.27%. In 3A category, 33,772 boys appeared, passing at a high 71.68%, with 32,870 girls appearing and achieving an impressive 86.47% pass percentage, resulting in an overall 78.97% pass percentage.

Over 900 schools record 100% result:
A total of 921 schools have recorded 100 per cent result, meaning all students from these schools have passed the SSLC exam 1. On the other hand, 144 schools have zero result which means all students from those schools have failed the exam 1.

Students who do not do well in SSLC exam 1 will have two more chances to improve their marks or pass the class: exam 2 and exam 3.
