In a shocking incident, a class 10 student was attacked and stabbed by his three classmates after refusing to carry their school bags in Belagavi, Karnataka. This incidence took place at Valmiki Maidan next to the Government High School in Gokak city on Thursday morning.
According to source, the incident took place after the victim identified as Pradeep Bandivaddar refused to carry the school bag of his friends named Ravi Chinnawa, Ashoka Kankanwadi and Siddhhartha Matttikokka who were also studying in the same school. This refusal made them angry and the trio allegedly stabbed him on his neck, hands and stomach with a knife and fled the spot.
Pradeep Bandivaddar immediately collapsed after the attack and was immediately rushed to the Gokak government hospital by the local teachers of Gokak Govt High School. He was later admitted to city’s private Ganga hospital for his further treatment.
On hearing the news, the city police rushed to the hospital and gathered information about the situation from Pradeep Bandivaddar , and it has been revealed that the students who attacked him was from the same school and class.
According to police reports, he is currently undergoing treatment. After stabbing the victim, the accused ran off from the incident site, and are currently on loose.
A case has been filed by the authorities at Gokak Town police station and launched search operation to locate the attackers.
Further investigations are underway to determine the details of the incident.
