Betne Waterfalls are one of the best places to visit if you are in Belagavi or nearby. Not many people know about this place because it is unexplored. Being a local, I have been much time to Betne waterfall.
It is also known as Betnegundi Waterfall. This unexplored waterfall is located in a village, Betne, that can be located when you move towards Goa from Khanapur, Belagavi.

There are no entry fees in Betne waterfall unlike a few other falls in Belagavi, it is absolutely free. Anyone can visit this place any time of the day without paying any fee.
Best Time to Visit Betne Waterfall
The best time is usually between September to March. It is advisable not to visit this waterfall during the monsoon as it can be dangerous. You’ll see many tourists during the month between September and March.
There is no fixed time to visit this waterfall, you can find this heaven during the day or night. But on the safer side do not go during the night it can be dangerous as there is a small trek of 3 kilometers to reach the waterfall and the area is foresty.
