A session on Cyber security Awareness was held at Saint Joseph’s Convent High School In Belagavi .
This session was taken by the cyber security expert and CEO of Shreshta IT Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Swapneel Patnekar.
He spoke to students of 7th, 8th, and 9th standards regarding the various listed points on how to remain safe and secure online while using social media platforms, downloading an app or any other activities.
He also spoke of online vigilance and one of the most best practices for cyber security.
Swapneel Patnekar discussed on the topics like creating unique passwords for the different websites or app, privacy and data security were held. He even urged the students to spread the awareness about all the issues among the elders in their homes. The principal, teachers and members of the PTA also attended the session which highlighted the importance and significance of today’s digital age.
The session was conducted with discussions, Q&A sessions and practical relevance.
Chief Security Researcher and CEO of Shreshta IT Technologies, Belagavi based cyber security and threat intelligent company, Mr. Patnekar, spoke about his life story and his experience in information security. He spoke on how his company had several companies of different locations just by alerting and helping them in time. He discussed about the workshops he had conducted for police and other security and vigilance agencies.
The session for the children was very insightful and engaging which helped them to learn and be aware of cyber crimes.
