Belagavi's first Endoscopic Ultrasound machine inaugurated at KLES hospital.

The city’s first Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) Machine which is a combination of Endoscopy and Ultrasound. 

The EUS machine was inaugurated at the KLES Prabhakar Kore Hospital by Dr. Amit Maydeo, Endoscopist at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital Mumbai. 

This machine will be very helpful for the people of Belagavi as it will help in the early diagnosis of cancerous tumors, draining puss present in the deep cavities, taking biopsies of internal structure, and management of Gastrointestinal (GI) disease. 

Chief Gastroenterologist at KLE Hospital, Dr. Santosh Hajare said this machine would take the health care of Belagavi to the next level. This will also be helpful for the people of the districts near Belagavi.
