Four seats results have been ordered to be withheld by the Karnataka High Court (Dharwad Bench) (for Bailhongal, Kittur, Nippani & Hukkeri) amid disputes even after polls were conducted.
According to reports, the Jarkiholi camp claimed support from 13 out of 16 directors, signaling a dominant hold even before results for all seats were declared. The election was largely viewed as a power struggle between the Jarkiholi family camp—directed by Satish and Ramesh Jarkiholi—and the Laxman Savadi–Ramesh Katti alliance, both trying to consolidate their influence in Belagavi’s cooperative and political network.
