Belgaum News: The voters in Belgaum turned out in huge numbers this year to cast their votes and contribute to shaping the future of our country. People were seen excited to vote even in the hot weather.
This year the Belgaum constituency saw the highest percentage of voters in its history. By 06:00 pm, 71.26% of voters.
In 2021, only 56.02% of voters voted in Belgaum whereas in 2019, 66.59% of voters cast their vote.

Jagdish Shettar from the BJP and Mrunal Hebbalkar from the INC is the two most popular and strongest candidate from the Belgaum constituency.
Maximum votes were seen from Saundatti 70.85% and Belagavi Rural 70.40%. Similarly, Chikkodi saw a whopping 72.72% voting, the highest in Karnataka.
